A Chill Touch
Today I turned on my furnace and lamented the end of Autumn. The trees haven’t all turned yet, but it’s cold enough to feel like Winter. I can still look at the half-barren branches and dream.

It’s got (tss tss) steam heat!
So, I burned my throat. On the inside. Thanks to some particularly hot jambalaya hitting my gag reflex, I couldn’t swallow, and I was having a hard time coughing it up, so hot cajun goodness sat in my throat for almost half a minute.
For those curious, it’s like having a really raw sore throat.

An Ounce of Prevention
I’ll tell you what, TV Studios: I promise to watch an hour of advertisements per five hours of TV shows as long as I don’t have to watch commercials during the TV shows.
